Maria was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2008. She obtained her law degree from the Osgoode Hall Law School after completing a Master’s degree in Political Science at Queen’s University. Prior to joining Fireman Steinmetz, Maria practiced at a prominent Toronto insurance defence firm. Maria’s practice focuses on accident benefits available to the people injured in motor vehicle accidents under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule. Maria is fluent in several languages including Russian, Mandarin, Spanish and French and is able to assist clients of different backgrounds.

Maria is a member of The Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

In her spare time, Maria enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and attending cultural events.
