Renata obtained her law degree from Queen’s University in 2003 and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2004. Prior to her law studies she received an Honours B.A. in the French language, Economics and Spanish, from the University of Toronto. In the summer of 2006 Renata completed the Osgoode Hall Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop.
Renata joined Fireman Wolfe after working on the defence side, first as in-house counsel for a large insurance company, and then at a busy downtown insurance defence firm. She has handled AB claims, property and casualty tort cases, and product and occupier’s liability litigation for most of the province’s major insurance companies.
Renata is currently part of the Pro Bono Roster for the Child Advocacy Project for the Advocate’s Society. She is also a member of the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association & the Canadian Bar Association.
In her down time Renata enjoys staying active, traveling, reading biographies and crime novels, and spending time with her family, friends and with her dog.
